Well, here they are, my new rims on the car. I think they look absolutely perfect and i'm so glad i went for the tarmacs in the end, it seems that most people are going for the pff7 replica's so i feel i made the right choice.

Only thing now is the car sits to high so i've just ordered a set of Tein S-tec Lowering springs, so once i've got them on i think the car's exterior is nearly finished

Tein S-tec Lowering springs Subaru Impreza 92 99 gc8 on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 13-Jun-08 09:43:26 BST)

Here's the pics

Also managed to fit my HKS SSQV BOV, what a cool bit of kit, the noise it makes is just brilliant and a refreshing change to the normal ptssshhhh

What do you think guys?

I wouldn't be surprised if Gordon Brown gives you a call for keeping the economy ticking over all that money you are spending.
What credit crunch?

Default New update 24/05/08

Hi guys

Time for some more updates. Well my tein s tech lowering springs arrived yesterday so seeing as the weather was good today i thought it'd be rather rude not to fit them. Thankfully my mate Stuart was on hand to help me do the shocks (he actually did most of the work) Well what a pain in the **** they were to fit, we started at 11 am and finsihed up at about 6 pm, although we really could've finshed by 3 pm if it wasn't for some bad luck. We had just refitted the last shock which was the drivers rear and the **** hit the fan, i sometimes dont realise my own strength and in the excitement to finish i snapped one of the top mount bolts * DOH!* lol. So we had to take it all off and and drill out the snapped bolt and fit a new one. Anyway, i'm well happy with the end result and i'm looking forward to see what the stance is like in a few weeks time when they've settled down

Stuart - Man of the day

The Dreaded last coil

The end result

I also managed to get the calipers painted up, although, they will need 1 more coat in a weeks time and i'll do the white lettering too. but i think they look pretty good against the white.

Painted calipers

One other addition to the car is that i've finally got round to putting my private plate on the car ** PAU

The Plate

Well guys, what do you think???

Thanx

Scooby23 aka Paul

Nice to meet you yesterday Scooby23, didn't catch your name, but going off the number plate i'd guess Paul. If your still up for meeting up first, we'll meet you at 18:00 in Pencoed McD's, bit early but as theres so many cars going we'lll need to be early to get a tidy space. Then we can have a drink in the pub until it fills up a bit.
