Update....
Apexi AVCR now in my possesion and ready to go in ti refine boost control.
Plus Total impreza have featured it in there readers rides for this months edition due out on the 1st Sept. Got a call from them the other day and told me i won there star pick for the month and had won a prize! (tub of wax for car!) plus they had entered it into round 4 of the impreza idol competition...

So if it wins, may have a full feature and cover shoot, fingers crossed!

Well took the car to Cadwell last Monday fresh after the power and chassis mods. To say I was pleased with it's all round power and handling is an under statement! Had a great day, here some pics....

So decided to throw even more money and time at the car and carry on with the WRC theme with my next upgrade, fully flocked dash and centre console.
Before.....
During...
Nearly there, just awaiting the gauge pod and rest of the centre console to be flocked!
Will post some more once complete...

Cars looking mint fella, If only i had some spare money, i would buy this car in a minute. Keep up the good work, i am so jealous of your front end. I wanted to go down that route, but its crazy money.

With the flocked dash, the silver trim looked naff, so decided to change the colour with some black wrinkle paint...
Before....
After....
Back together...
Now just gotta find some time to put it all back in the car and finish the dash, plus got a WRC suede steering wheel to go on too!

Well with the dash in peices, thought i might as well do the next mod...
Always wanted a gauge in the RH air vent, seen a few and they look good there, however didnt just want to hack the vent out, so approached it slightly differently....
First i got hold of some ABS plastic carbon effect sheet with 52mm hole...
Then measured the silver vent surround....
Once measured, it was then trimmed as required...
Then i needed to secure the new plastic ring to the existing vent, so next job was to plastic weld them both together...
Once welded up, any excess abs was trimmed and trial fitted...
Straight fit, simply clipped back in but my new gauge hadnt arrived as yet and couldnt wait to see what it looked like, so had this white oil temp gauge kicking around so quickly slid in to see how it looked....
Very happy with the look and fit, just need the acutal gauge to arrive and wire in now!
Also took some better pictures of the new flocked interior and WRC wheel, so here they are too...
