Progress update...

Didnt like where the air filter sat after the addition of the silicon inlet pipe, so added a 45% alloy bend pipe. Plus with not having any vents in the front bumper i wanted to make sure the filter got some cold air so added a cold air feed pipe.

Got the wheels back from the powder coaters, so banged them on just in time before Andrew Carr arrived to map her all up!

Very pleased with how it looks now, even more pleased with the results of the mods and mapping, according to Andrews software and calculations now running between 395 to 400bhp!

Well after all the performance mods, i have never been happy with the way the WRC style exhaust sounded, became really loud and raspy! plus was bangin on the under side and rear bumper, so a trip to Cobra exhausts soon sorted that...

Sounds and looks much better, very happy with end result.

Yeah that's what I orginally planned as the previous one was bent down as you mention. However after looking at options and this....

Plus i had a group A rally car prior to this and loved the look of the rolled small tailpipe! So that's what I finally decided on!

To be honest it was more to cure an awfull rasp and it bangin on the chassis rather than looks, but I much prefer all round.

Cheers Darren, exhaust sounded ok when before the headers and decat went on but really raspy and too loud afterwards, was putting me off driving it and prob one of the reasons I contemplated selling it! Sounds much nicer now so happy again!

P.s which vents are they we discussed?

These....

Or this...
