They do exist, ive seen one in the flesh which was owned by a guy who was on here before he sadly passed away due to illness 
and his was an immaculate example, I believe it went to another scoobynet member.

I'm still interested on an answer off 'Rikimaru' our resident Type RA expert...
At least I know I am responsible for his first post... It seems that this car is causing quite a stir on here judging by the amout of hits in such a short space of time...
Still ain't sold it yet mind...
So can I refer to it as a Type R RA V-Limited now or are we still waiting on an 'official' response???

As you have said correctly this does not come with DCCD and Intercooler Water Spray that the STi has.
It does however come as standard with a Low Ratio Group N Box, which makes this car very quick indeed with it's 280 BHP output.

I have seen this before.
Its a non-sti V-Limited 2door version of the WRX (non Sti) base RA.
Officially it IS a TypeR (although it was marketed as being based on the 4door WRX RA).
For verson 5, it was an established model and people did not need to know what it was based on. They also added the STI drivetrain.

OK, I have just got back from taking pics!!!
Bloody typical though, brilliant sunshine and for the 5 mins I get out to take the pics it starts to hale stone!!! Get back in the car and it stops!!!
Anyway, this is for all the people who have PM'd me for pics!!!
Front bumper (holes where splitter was, scratches and paint defects)...
Rear Bumper (good condition but has been sprayed the wrong colour)...

Hi Guys, I was the one who built the engine thats currently in the car. I made a big mistake selling this engine to Richy! I was in the middle of doing a deal with a 2.5 engine when i sold the 2.0. The deal fell through and i ended up with out an engine for my car. The engine was an absolute beaut! I'd recomend this car to any1

The chassis plate has been off the car, any reason why?
The chassis plate is loose, but it certainly hasn't been taken off the car in it's existance in this country (I know the only 2 owners it has had in this country).
I didn't want to re-rivet it, because I didn't want to be accused of changing it, LOL...
