amazing 20 mins from arsenal, couldn't get the ball off them but they never recovered after sami goal. Walcott run was amazing, must have been all over in 10-15 seconds. Aurelio should have taken a yellow, but bottled it as he would have been out of the next game. plonker.

No mention of Torres goal? never once looked up, just spun and hit the top corner. I said at the start of the season he was class, good to see him come through.

least the wait isnt near half a decade like a certain club only a few years ago

 

penalty decisions even up over a season in the prem, unfortunately they don't in a 2 legged q final.

however, we had our chances to win this, we made sloppy mistakes to let pool score, we should have won over 180 mins as we were the best team i felt but we didn't, pool didn't make errors, they got through. why did wenger not play toure centre back, eboue right back and walcott on the right from the start?
It looked like we were knackered at the crunch time for the season. shame. anyway, good luck to the scousers, hope they go on to win (and help the fans forget they haven't won the league for 20 years) and beat the blue scum..

Jesus youd think Liverpool had taken the biggest scalp of them all, rather than an out of sorts Arsenal struggling to get a win in any comp let alone the Champs league.

I think Chelsea will grind out a result esp with 2nd leg at their pad.Then again maybe I should back Liverpool as beaten them home and away already this season, that said we beat Chelsea twice as well.....
