Cheers trails. Looking forwards to seeing yours all done. Pics asap.

Only a few tender spots on mine, mainly with the highlights on already tired and sore skin, other than that not too bad.

Aaah its not so bad. There was not a single moment where I though "enough, lol.
Definatly a few uncomfortable moments, but other than that it was fine.
That said, some of the more delicate areas are yet to be done.

Exciting afternoon for me, off to the London Tattoo Convention in Tobacco Dock.
Some big names there, and interested to see the pieces that are being done at the show as well as a whole lot more.
Might pick up some ideas for the next one lol

Can't wait till this afternoon, time for a bit more work on the foot.
Another 2 hour sitting, hoping to get a good chunk done today, but loving the progress either way.
I shall of course update with pics, maybe even from the chair lol.

After the convention I have a head full of ideas of what never, so can talk some of those through too.
Roll on 1.30

Fast reply.... lol
That's cool, look forwards to seeing pics of that when its being done, and is done.

She wanted to work on the eyes on mine today, but I think I want the bulk of the shading done, and the eyes done last to bring it to life.

Yeah London convention was fantastic, but a little over priced both on entry and for some of the artists there. Some wanting round £500 an hour to do a sitting.
Saw a fantastic mask piece while I was there, jealous or what lol, I will try and post a few pics up or have a look on my FaceBook album if you use it.

I'm already planning my next pieces, but might take a break for now, spend money on other things for a while lol

PS thanks for the the comment on mine, appreciated

And todays session is over.
Over the moon with the amount that was done today. Concentrated on the wind bars surrounding the main image, to get as much coverage as possible done in this sitting.

Here are a few poor pictures, will put some decent ones up when I get a mo.

Quality
Daft question time! As there seems to be a definite line, is the band across the middle of your foot staying like that or is it just the way your artist is working?

Lol that's not a daft question at all. That's the eyes and the "bandit mask" on the piece.
This sitting I wanted to get some coverage done, and decided that although we were going to do the eyes this time, that I in fact want to leave them til last. The eyes will define the piece so I want them to be done last.
The other reason for leaving them for now is we are actually still undecided on how to go about doing them. It would usually just be eyes and surrounding, but I have had a bandit mask added which partially covers them, which will contrast against the rest of the face.
Its an important piece of the tattoo for me, so figured if everything else is done, we will be able to see what will best suit this part.
The bandit mask signifies the Suzuki Bandit John was riding the day he died.

Ah, cool. Nice touch.
I had wondered because I was used to seeing masks in the 'full'
Definitely what I want for my back, not massive at all. Not much more than the size of a man's hand, but The Boss thinks it would look scary!!
Already have a Jap dragon and Koi as left/right chest plates.
Black and gray all the way

Aah no worries, I understand the confusion lol. The eyes will be there eventually, just want it to be the finishing piece really . Still looking for ideas how to put a band over the eyes, but still have some depth to the eyes.
I think it will end up bring a tightly pulled mask, allowing contours but making a clearly defined line between the face and the mask.

Up to date pics .....

Sorry about the image size

Almost without sensation to be honest mate, as was down by the toes. A few bits along the side nearer the sole have been a bit tender, but all the places I expected to be painful have been fine. Weird eh

Haha do it mate! You know it makes sense. Might get the other one done yet
Just keep in mind that any parts of the foot that are prone to dry skin, etc will be crap for inking.

Haha we have purposely avoided any areas that are likely to fade and look too crappy, only time will tell now I guess.
Took my first pic today with both the koi and mask visible on the same leg, i like it lol. But I won't be joining the two up any time soon.
