Angry RAIN !!!!

...Its raining before I have had a chance to finish buffing off the Jeffs Prime and its all going streaky and a mess

Is that going to be a problem, before I have had a chance to go over it with the Acryllic Trigger ..Guess will have to wait till it dries out then shift it with some gloss and start again

...I think they call it character Building

..Neighbours definitely Think I am lala now

In for Brekky now as mrs is doing bacon and egg sangers

If this happens, best bet is to wash it again, so as to ensure the residue is removed safely without causing marring or worse (remember rain is usually dirty so leaves dust and dirt on the surface). Been there and had it happen to me, no fun at all!

Cheers, managed to get it all of using the gloss to shift it (must get ploisher, I am knackered with buffing by towel, the Prime sticks like proverbial to a blanket - without gloss to shift it) and just gave a quick wash down with gold class and run the hose over it. Back to square one

Abandoned till next week, but pics so far coming.

Cool

So, here are the weather limiting results, I am sure can be improved on with a little better technique next time.

This is results without the Acryllic trigger/gloss so far. Did the prime, then got rained on, so buffed it off witrh a bit off gloss, then washed off residue and rain and dried when it had stopped.

After the rare interlude of sun when the above pics were taken, it opened up again.

No, because one size does not fit all! Cars are all different in terms of what they have in the way of defects and what owners want from the finish. If you tell us what you want to achieve, we will put together a recommendation for you based on this rather than generic advice. Either post on here, or send us an e-mail with info on the car, its condition and what you want to achieve from your car care routine.

so now we know the culprit when PB and AutoBrite are out of stock

Sounds like you need bulk purchase rates

T-cut is fab stuff for certain bits.
If you have never ever used it on a scoob classic on the metal door trim that runs to the rear door, then you are missing out

steam cleaner is okay...just okay. It works, but bloody hell its a lot of hard work for a half decent result. Oh and no good if you wear glasses ( I dont ), but you get the idea.

The scoob is only running at 300BHP, so compared to loads of my mates who run faster cars, I thought I would retire and aim for being clean instead

Go with that Tony, just got remapped to 280bhp as I need reliablility and reasonable fuelling, however, I believe aero dynamics are enhanced by a slick polished body!!!

they all laugh at me for my car cleaning antics, but funnily enough when it comes to having their cars all clean, then they are straight on the phone asking for advice
