Indeed! 1.5 hours to get to work yesterday

Didnt take any chances this morning and took the back roads - what is going on with traffic!!!! I think all the junctions round hemel are the worst. Captial FM even mentioned the A41 from hemel this morning and they are a london station

 

The A41 is rubbish at the moment, Kings Langley or Chipperfield for me!

The last two mornings, the traffic has been sh!te from the mini roundabout up to the M25 r/bout. Last week I noticed they had shut one lane on the A41 from the r/bout down to Langleybury traffic lights which affects me, even though I'm going to Berko!

If your mobiles are O2, dial 1200 and it gives you a traffic report.

Mr McWRX...................one day we might both be going in the same direction!

 

I'm in Hemel, normally going to work at Maple Cross.

I used to back lane it, but the private road i cut through got arsey, so now i have to queue down a lane.

A few more weeks and i'll take my gixxer, while waving at the traffic!

 

We used to work at Denham..........used to take 45 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes to get home!

We used to go through Sarratt etc. Do you mean the private road in Chorleywood that comes out near the Shell Garage? I noticed that they've blocked it off now when we last went that way.

I'd been in Watford all bleedin' morning. and was on my way to Sainsbury's...........double and to get petrol. What did you think of the shenanigans in the road this morning?

 

They were there this morning when I went to work, gone when I drove home at lunchtime, and then back again when I drove back to work. What are they doing?! The gap that they left to drive past was a little tight!

 

It was bloody tight! And they put the 'workman' sign right next to my car, so I had to move it before I could get out! Water has been pi$$ing up through the road all week. They came on Monday, to spray a blue line in the road to mark the leak, and then left it until today. You can imagine what 'im indoors will say if there's a hosepipe ban this year!

Not yesterday morning but I think I saw a hand going up in the air yesterday evening as i was coming onto the A41 from the M25 as you were coming down!? I had a BMW in chase mode so no time for waves

 

Ha! Now if you were a girly, you'd be able to multi-task!
