Start with RHWR then move to Mode 4 for starts on your Googling. I'm a rigger so don't fully understand the technology (if at all). The fairies however are very secretive about there gucci kit, so the chances of knowing fully how it works unless you ply them with with lots of beer are slim.

Its just that since I did not know what to search for none of the stuff I learned had anything to do with what I started out wanting to know

My brother's a Rolls Royce/BA rep and oversees the engineering work on, and signs off, the Typhoons engines before the aircraft is allowed to fly

Approx 20,000lbft of thrust in each engine in full reheat - You sure put alot of faith in steel chocks and a steel cable when you test the engines on the ground at full power. I do
