Morettes are one of the few things you can do to the exterior of a Type R without ruining it IMO... and speaking from experience they light up a dark night far better than the standard headlamps.
Roof vent is practically irreversible once fitted. A definite no-no in my book.

I'm not sure Morettes suit grey Impreza's... They suited my red classic and I liked the look of them on there. They certainly don't suit the 22B!!!
Stay as is if I was you Kev...

I am having second thoughts about the roof vent as well, like you say once fitted it is there to stay.
I guess at the end of the day I'm struggling here to put my own stamp on the car as the previous owner did such a good job
visual improvement was always going to be a tough call.
If you like the Morrettes go for it Kev, its easy enough to change back if you change your mind and second hand Morrettes fetch good money so you shouldn't be stuck with them if you change your mind.
That is a good point above and it is no-one elses business what you do Kev...
I personally don't think they look good with the grey and externally visually you car looks the better without them.
Why don't you spend that sort of money on a modification of more benefit to you like a Knocklink or a Wideband Lambda Gauge/Sensor to made sure the car is running perfect/safe...

I don't mind the morrettes, but feel like the side light looks a little odd next to them, i have see it where the sidelight was painted the same colur as the car and thought that looked good, i just tryed to do a photoshop of it but it didn't come out right.
