As the pic is one colour, meaning everything is graphite grey it dont look that bad, but will it still look as good with gold alloys though.

It is upto you in the end, but your car as is , looks the dogs danglies.

Morettes are one of the few things you can do to the exterior of a Type R without ruining it IMO... and speaking from experience they light up a dark night far better than the standard headlamps.

Roof vent is practically irreversible once fitted. A definite no-no in my book.

I'm not sure Morettes suit grey Impreza's... They suited my red classic and I liked the look of them on there. They certainly don't suit the 22B!!!

Stay as is if I was you Kev...

I respect all your views, and all I am hearing here is NO. I actually do like them but I'll leave as is for now and think about it again sometime

Good to here from you Carl, I dont suppose I'll be doing an awfull lot of night driving but as you say everyone rates the Morettes for a vast improvement in the lighting department.

I am having second thoughts about the roof vent as well, like you say once fitted it is there to stay.

I guess at the end of the day I'm struggling here to put my own stamp on the car as the previous owner did such a good job visual improvement was always going to be a tough call.

Ignore this lot, crack on with the morettes. They look great on Simbs and Fatmans car (I know there blue) but they are a vast improvement on the standard looking ones.

If you like the Morrettes go for it Kev, its easy enough to change back if you change your mind and second hand Morrettes fetch good money so you shouldn't be stuck with them if you change your mind.

That is a good point above and it is no-one elses business what you do Kev...

I personally don't think they look good with the grey and externally visually you car looks the better without them.

Why don't you spend that sort of money on a modification of more benefit to you like a Knocklink or a Wideband Lambda Gauge/Sensor to made sure the car is running perfect/safe...

I don't mind the morrettes, but feel like the side light looks a little odd next to them, i have see it where the sidelight was painted the same colur as the car and thought that looked good, i just tryed to do a photoshop of it but it didn't come out right.

Yep, fuel/air ratio gauge and wideband lamda sensor... If the car runs lean for whatever reason the knocklink 'should' pick it up (I have known cars to go bang without showing anything on the knocklink, because they weren't setup properly)... However, the AFR gauge/wideband lamda setup will show you in real time what is going on and is a very good mod for keeping your engine safe (it's the next mod on my list after the fuel pump dying on my 22B)...
