Watched The Thing 2011 last night.
Was OK I guess. Didn't have the suspense of the 1982 film. Bit too much use of CGI but at least some effort with the latex and food colouring.
No spoiler here but I can't help feeling concerned that my favorite part of the film was the last few minutes - actually when the main story had ended.
Had it been earlier in the evening I would have jumped straight into part 2 (1982 version)
6.9/10 - good but suffers from "Attack of the Clones" syndrome.
