Try going to the White City buiding site in Shepherd's Bush, first time I went there, checked into the booking office and the first question asked was "Do you speak english?" got on site to repair some machines and I think I was one of the very few British people on site, I reckon that about 70% of the work force are Polish and I'm not exagerating
