Sorry but have to disagree here, a classic doesn't have a patch on a MY05> STi, if you think differently you're not getting the best from your Spec D
Sadly you a probably right Still think the standard springs on my car were rubbish and the high seating position doesn't feel right yet.

The Poll is flawed .... I think the Classics should be split into Original and facelift, lets face it, that is what the Blob was to the Bug .

No Stealth Wagon option so will have to settle for Blob.

Classic of course

I also do quite a few miles in a non-Scoob too, but the poll only accepts one vote

That was you was it. First one I've seen 'in the flesh'.

After the original pics released of the WRX I was dreading this change, but the STi pics looked great.
Then I saw it and yes, they look great. From the front. Shame about the butt. Bit standard fair hatch type stuff, I'm afraid.

But then, you don't get to see that bit when driving so f**k it!

The only reason they have so many votes is because they are cheap to buy.......... could have bought THREE classics for the same money it cost me for my Blob STI, so on this voting lark ONE blob is really worth THREE voting points when compared to the classics.....

Personally i dont give a toss lol...

I love em all, all have advantages and disadvantages.. i think its what we make of em, in standard trim theyre all a bit limp wristed.

Show em some love here, turbo there and maybe some methanol everywhere else and they all can be stormers

P.S

Prodrive edition bugeyes are the best lookers ha ha ha

Not really mate... sit down and actually try and pick between the cars. Its not as easy as you may first think.

Sure i prefer the looks of some models to others, but i seriously like all the different MYs the same,

Just think of the Phase 1 RA's, right through to the Type Rs, P1s, 22B, Bug STI, S202, S203, S204, WR1, Spec C, Spec C RA, Spec C RA-R right through to the current 08 STI hatch.

I think you'll agree that there is something that excites you about every one of those cars mentioned.

Obviously "out of the box" performance will always get better, smoother more refined, more gadgets etc. Thats just teh evolution of the motor industry.

But who's that bothered about stock performance anyway... ive never had a standard car anyway, well certainly not for long ha ha

Shapes and sizes are one thing, but you keep telling us that it an all new car... so you can't have it both ways the hatch is all on it's own

Not that I care as I drive none of them

Dare I say.

It's a bit like women.

Some look good but are rubbish performers.

Others look duff but make up for it in other areas.

And then some are like the Blobeye.

Perfect in every way.
