Its either seedings and a partial draw (e.g. wimbledon) or a completey random draw (e.g. FA Cup).

I'd prefer the second, could make for some 1st round upsets (and tantrums )

I'd be inclined to go for std. money because it introduce more tactics for limited weapons choice. Myabe we could have several events - Freestyle and Classic

The possibilities are endless, but could be a reet good laugh.

Hey 4 me we can have a pistol only, shotgun only, no money and more competition if you like

We can do whatever we want I'm only suggesting getting started.

I'll organise one for everyone that wants in according to what everyone who wants in actually wants to do.

So far we've had a Standard money request and a pistols only request, we can do that in one (i.e this one).

So unless anyone objects we make it a standard game money wise, that way, first round is pistol only and each subsequent round will depend more on tactics (just like normal).

Suggestions have been taken on, assimilated and will be used.

Or what about 2 vs 2.Teams to consist of one lpb and one moaner( sorry hpb) might be fairer and would encourage teamwork.(Well maybe)

 

well it only takes 1 round from the ak to kill =]
usp only takes 3 rounds

using the sniper rifle doesn't always mean camping I normally scoot round pretty fast with it. I'm quite happy to play without the sniper rifle then

One step further, we have an FA cup type random draw (facilitated by a kind contractor at work writing me a program to select a random draw with data extracted from STi locked stats page) !

I know we havent sorted out the important parts just yet i.e handicap (if applicable) or rules of engagement etc but I thought you'd like to see 'what you could have won'

When happens if you get lag and shot? Is the kill removed. Could be the only way for Steve to get through first round

 

I've probably set my self up for a big fall now cause if Steve actually sticks with it he'll probably give me a hard fight.

Also, are these games going to be "to the death" type events or will completing the map objective be classed as a win too?

Map choices are to be voted for by all who're still in it for the relevant round.


I'm thinking de_dust for the first round as it simple and known by all.

Map objectives , hmmmmmmm..........I'd say no as they're much simpler to complete 1 on 1 and the defender i.e ct on dust, t on italy has virtually no chance if the bomb is planted or hossies are 'on their way'.

However, I think that should be voted on.

Wait till tomorrow, I'll compile a set of rules and we can vote on whether they're acceptable or not/changes to be made.


I'm thinking start the comp next week and each round to be completed during that week (should we set aside an hour a night for the comp for the duration ? ).

Also, each rounds draw will be randonly drawn as the first was.

 

LOL, who's to say you won't get him in the next round? or aren't you planning on getting that far
