the car is only mapped to 1.5bar at the moment due to the problems I have mentioned but I'm hoping for 2 bar once its all sorted

having been to there premeses today,
to collect some engine parts,
looked around there excellent workshops and facilities,
the work there carrying out to very high standard id have no hessitation in recomending Chy @pennine

Wouldn't have been an mls gasket by any chance, they are never recommended for linered alloy engines as funny enough the liner can slip.

Do the liners on a subaru have to sit proud of the block because of the block expanding quicker when warming up?

Things are on the roll with Pennine and the block is ordered and it will be pushed to 600 i hope

its on the 2.5 ltr but I'm not on my AVCS heads as they are away at zen getting machined for my new cams. Unfortunately I,m only running sti5 heads at the moment so its killing me on accel and power

Phew..... I was gonna suggest you go back to the drawing board if that had been on a 2.5ltr with AVCS!

I,m looking forward to my heads going back on as 500bhp'ish on non avcs is slow IMO
