i think we should do this again but with better benchmark software
this one does seem dependant on clock speed (one core) only which is a bit poo in the light of multicore processing
http://www.passmark.com/products/pt.htm maybe, has a 30 day trial anyhoo

Wow great figures 
the only issue I would have with that is you have adjusted your base clock, its a big 
on sandybridge cores if you want to retain reliability on the mobo/cpu, your not really suppose to adjust it from 100, see yours is at 106.3 
so may be worth knocking it back a little

tony, is that for the 2600k chips. 1.5v certainly wasn't the case for the first gen i7s. somewhere around 1.4v max i read some place.
