Guy I went to school with got a brand new DC2 Integra Type-R for his 18th birthday and apparently daddy paid c6k to insure it for him...

24 years old
2007 STi Spec-D
7k per annum
Garaged
Good Postcode
Just under £570
Admiral Multi-Car Policy (4 cars)

I also phoned Keith Michaels but was told that guys in their 30's arent getting quotes like that on a Hawkeye STi.. Just lucky I guess.

Cheers,
Grant

Some of these quotes are crazy. Why don't you guys join Rospa or IAM, take the test(Rospa Gold standard) and I am sure you could get upto 21% off the insurance.

Not if you are <27 and want a car worth >£12k. I had to cancel my policy with them to buy my Impreza.

No, not really. It's with Bell. You been on their site, or elephant (there's not a lot in them)? As daft as it sounds, try adding your mum to it, that took mine down by hundreds (not that she'd ever be allowed near it ).

Hope that helps a bit

took me nearly two days solid on the phone to find a decent quote, finally took one from Academey.

1997 wrx import
27 yr old
0 ncb
0 accidents in past
fully comp
1600 quids.....still no great.

lived in germany for the last 8 yrs so have no ncb, although have been driving nearly 10 yr , i think with academy it was the fact i had hgv and adr license that brought the price down.
