What is rather odd is that I have just had a look and the thread has been re-instated and the negative comments deleted
Oh, well. No satisfactory explanation or justification, but the members of CGTi aren't to blame and so are still welcome. Be on the lookout for a yellow Corrado or a pick-up truck containing a guy taking photo's though, he's BANNED. By that, I mean BANNED, not coming, NEVER, EVER, EVER. And my reason is because he treated me in an intolerable way without explanation, reason or justification. I go out of my way to provide a fun and entertaining day for like-minded people to enjoy and people spit sour grapes at me over a fiver to help run the day and provide facilities

[quote=corradoboy;7649066]After Pistonheads decided they wouldn't let me ask their members along to our day I've just revisited one of my other posts on ClubGTi and been greeted with...
This was where a guy I've never heard of stated he'd been to Blyton many times with us but objected to us asking for £5 to spectate. I don't think they must have liked my explanation that it was to raise some club funds to pay for the BBQ, free food and drink, and other facilities provided on the day by a club he wasn't part of.[/quo
Well said Dave,,,,do thay think it's all free we all have to pay our event soooooooooo,,,,,,,,,,,,, we are the gaffers...

Red Man is coming along to play
Dave
just paid the deposit - will be bringing my new toy now that I have done my first stage rally (at Croft). Blyton will be a good chance to properly test her out, with tarmac settings.
Will also be bringing the drifttbox data logger if others are interested in getting some performance data on the day.
Will be good to see you all after such a break

Pug 205 1.9GTi - the car won the 205 Ecosse championship last year - which unfortunately means all my excuses for not doing well have gone out the window.
The car feels brilliant - will be interesting to see how she goes round at Blyton.
Dave
ps: some photos of the car at Croft on the Jack Frost rally last month - Car 56 - Jack Frost Croft 13th Jan 2008
