I agree with you they shouldn't, but they are, and I'm not going to spend my time fretting about it, there are far more important issues facing this country.

 

Not trying to stir the pot, but I wonder if this woman in question had not crossed the OP's wife, would this question have even come up.

She is only possibly an illegal by the statement the OP has made, not definately, so if crossed words hadn't been made, would her status here been questioned? or was it already known she MAY be here illegally, but nobody cared either way until there was some sort of arguement?

I have a lot of sympathy with this view. Of course it will never happen but just imagine if a few dozen were actually deported and dumped in the Congo or wherever. What a deterrant that would have on bad behaviour. It would carry a bit more weight than an ASBO. dl

The original poster thinks the person is here and shouldn't be.

That's someone our tax pays services for as they are (probably) using fake documents or using a dual account to gain services - if they are right.

Would I report her? Yep.

Let the people we pay to run the country, run it.

 

It would be easy to get another infraction right now by pointing out that getting this infraction kind of makes my point....but I wont.

I say it again, it's not an insult it's a view based upon the responses to the thread, afterall there wasn't much 'live and let live' going on. I guess the wider reasons for my comments are the constant right wing views aired on here, that go basically unchallenged, especially on immigration, too many people on here running around with their hair on fire, screaming about immigration, and blaming immigrants (legal or not) for all the country's ills.
