All in all was a nice day.
Weather could have been nicer and it ws nice to meet some people to put faces to names such as alex (AKA Dr Evil).

my only complaint, and call me an old woman, was the speed at which some people were driving down a bumpy industrial road with many people standing around and cars pulling out.

One guy decided to do a few fly bys and must have gone passed power engineering in excess of 80mph and that was being conservative.

I am sorry to whinge but I could see it ending in tears.

Drudders,

YHM

On the final drive ration thing, I'm pretty sure that has no bearing on the power figure as your car produces the same power, whatever gear you are in..... (nice try though m8 )

It was worth a go..................

Seriously, LukeS has done some investigation and it is probably an inertia dynamometer, which means that it has a flywheel on it and the power and torque is calculated from the rate at which the flywheel is accelerated, so no matter what you drive it with, it will be accurate.

So Jawa, how many gpm does your Scoob do now ?? I bet your fuel gauge looks like a rev counter going backwards

Dunno mate But I started on Sat b4 fitting the Dawes with 3/4 tank, by the end of the day and a trip to Frimley and back it was gone I'll get a better idea after a few tanks have gone through it, wouldn't expect it to be much different I hope

Your not wrong about a backwards rev counter but the huge difference in driveability for the better more than makes up for it
