Well, it was only a matter of time I guess.
As I got home tonight I popped down to see what was going on. Only people left on site were police and some forensics.

As I rounded the corner to take a few snaps, I was saddened to see a private ambulance arrive.
Sure enough after being escorted on site by what I assume would be CID, the returned a few mins later with a body. RIP

So that's one dead, and at least another critical from today.
House itself is still there so not sure which part collapsed at this point.

Condolences to the family of the deceased and hope the other makes a full recovery.

Fingers crossed someone is doing some time for this!

Had been completely stripped bare, so a scary stage of instability. Chinese workers believed to be living in a hut on site.
Whole front of the building had been removed a few months back.

Mincove Global is the title the owners applied for planning permission under for the site on 6 Church Rise, the house/ site next to mine.
He confirmed at the time we last spoke that he was the owner of 14 Waldram Park Road too, and offered to show me round both sites. They are on site quite often. So can't be that hard to find.

Thats a terrible story Snazy, glad it was well enough removed from your place. Sounds like a risky bit of building work going on. I suppose they will get the person responsible for it all.

I hope so les, someone needs to be held to account for this. I am contacting all the media I can and wont rest until I get some official answers about it.
Personally I would like to see all the land and proper confiscated and allocated for the low cost housing program.
