Its a nasty world out there!!
BIG thumbs up to Beesti for acting like that!
Sadly I was bullied for the whole 5 years of my senior school, by not just one but a group of 15 girls!
I now have 3 kids and the thought of them bullying someone else makes me feel ill, on the other hand, I think that most kids will come into contact with bullying/fighting at some part of their lives.
Reading this story and the reply by RSF Ray brings back alot of memories for me - I wish that I'd of been stronger at the time - but there again, what I went through (although nowhere to the extent of what these poor kids went through) has certainly made me the person I am today, and I'm 100 times better than they are. It also made me feel sad to recall the look on my families face when I got taken home by a friends sister clutching my face with a wet flannel and being more concerned that my mum would tell me off cause my coat was dirty. At the time, I had no idea that my face was so swollen the hospital were unable to get clear x-rays for 5 days, nor the fact that her fingernail was imbedded in my head, she'd pulled my hair to such an extent that my head was swollen, my cheek bone was fractured and the blood vessles in my eye were burst. However, I couldn't open my eye for about 2 months and the bruising went to behind my ear. Thats without the bruising to my chest, neck and other side of my face.
My brother went out that night - and I, to this day, think if he'd of found her, he'd of done time! Lucky for her, and for him I guess, she remained "missing" for at least a week. The Teachers at the school and the police were quite useless - they kinda scared me out of pressing charges - wasn't "encouraging" at all!
I sincerely hope that I never have to face that situation or that someone else's child faces such torment at the hands of MY children!
I also hope that the B@stards who carried out this callous and brutal attack will be caught - then we can find out who they are and send a few people round there

I know how angry you must feel, having my own child only bullied by another child outside his school and basically being mugged for his mobile and monies. he was so scared for weeks with continual threats of violence from him and his pikey family so much so that in the end Darren went to their house and threatened the family with reprisals as there was no help from the Police or the schools even though the family is well known for this sort of behaviour.
and Darren said if any more would come of it he would do time to end it finally. that's how agree this made him feel so God knows how you guys must feel with your situation.
I think the answer is smack your kids, bring back corporal punishment in schools let the police clump the kids and the National service for all school leavers..............this all promotes "Respect" this would have to include the last two generation's as well I'm afraid as they have had it to good as well, so can't discipline there own as well as the older generation could. Or perhaps a third world war.

I was brought up by a very strict dad and I was frightened of him most of the time, and it completely changed my view on parenting,my kid's are not bullies or disrespectful and i'm sure they would'nt benefit from world war three which would be nuclear and we'd all be dead.

Have to say I think your view's are quite extreme respect is earned and slapping and national service is not alway's the way to achieve this.

Hi Yevette
Sorry prehaps national service is a bit harsh, but we honestly think some off these kids need something to put them back on the right track, this may not be the answer
I was brought up in a very strict family and i did get a slap ,but it never did me any harm, i have total respect for my parents .
My father is a greek cypriot and back in his country they have national service and they do not seem to have the problems we face here.
Sorry if i have affended you by my comments or any one else it wasnt meant.

i wouldn't have minded doing National Service when i was 16...
i did an apprenticeship, which was pretty much the same - instructors shouting at you, training, S*** jobs etc....
it just might make people realise how lucky they are.
also, young offenders should be forced to help underprivilidged countries
this:-
a) gets them out the country
b) opens their eyes to how bad some people really do have it...
its a real shame the way things are going...

Actually there is a slim chance of cold war style nuclear war now....
More of a chance of us all getting infected by some dirty bomb.....
I think 2 years in the TA would sort most kids out.... I get a lot of 16/17 kids wanting to join and the system sorts out the "loud" ones.

Again your entitled to your opinion but i stand by what i said you only have to look at thing's like blackshot?? army barrack's inhouse bullying where there supposed to have respect for each other didn't seem to sort them out, people ended up killing themselves.
I appreciate people who want to join up and defend our country but out of choice not as a form of discipline
