Good Luck.
When my violent ex was eventually removed from the house, I changed the locks because he used to sit outside the house at 3am ringing me telling me he could come in at anytime, My solicitor told me I couldnt change the locks because he was on the deeds so he had a right to enter, as I was on the deeds too so he couldnt change the locks either. I had to say I had lost the keys and I was going to get him one cut... which a forgot to do of course

I know the damage has been done....... but, **** me, what were you thinking?????
As above, if the police will not do anything and your lawyer is being useless then I really suggest you get a bunch of heavies around and begin to ground and pound them.

Feel sorry for you mate.
I really thought this was a wind up as I read through your original post.
'No, surely not...... oh dear.'
Just think of it as a very expensive lesson.
And people wonder why housing is so cheap in poland.

What a heartless bitch. If she has done this to you then it was intended from the start in my opinion. Therefore she was willing to groom you and submit to you during your "happy" times together.
The UK system should protect us from this outside scum.![Mad](images/smilies/mad.gif)
How the hell do they intend to continue with your business anyway? I can't imagine for one second it would last long in there hands![Ponder2](images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Try the legal system first, if that doesn't work then turn the tables on them by hiring in some locals. I'm sure there are plenty willing in your part of the country

Lets face it - most of us have been there at one point or another.
as the old saying goes, love is blind. very very true.
good luck in what ever you get sorted.

I am not sure of how you will best deal with this if the courts are crap, as I do not expect people like this will simply say 'ok, see ya' and leave. Maybe it is best to get everything out of there and move to different premises and inform all your customers..... have they not turned up at your house??

Keep a diary of the intimidation.
Of course, when you signed over the 25% of the business you were probably under duress as her boyfriend was threatening you even back then. If you don't think that would work, start a new company and begin moving the customers over now.
If she's playing nasty so should you, the thieving little b1tch.

She deliberately deceived you, she hasn't got a leg to stand on. Inform the police that you are being threatened (which you are), get back into your business and install cctv.
You've been f&cked mate, royally, nothing else to say. All you can do now is to turn all that anger into a nice cold dish of revenge.

assuming this isn't a wind up or a plot to a film you have just seen.
go to a solicitor ASAP, you need to know where you stand and exactly what you can do and get it done.
Inform the police if you have been threatened.
Let is serve as a lesson in love, business and pleasure remain seperate, warning bells should have gone off when she wanted a token of your love which was a stake in your business, any decent honest real female would be thinking marriage or a nice ring/present not a part of your business, wise up and do not let your d1ck rule your head in future

It does sound like this could have been a setup from the start - young girl finds lonely older bloke who has a few quid, moves over to the UK and sets out to get as much out of him as she can, helped of course by her dodgy Polish mates in this country.
TBH, I have heard of a few similar cases, all with women 20 years or so younger than the man - should be a good warning lesson, how many 24 year old girls do you think are really interested in a man 20 years older unless its for financial reasons ?
Souonds like their solicitors letter is something they have knocked up themselves on the PC to try and scare you - I cant see any real legit solicitor issuing a letter like this as they would know it is worthless, and besides, she couldnt claim anything other than her 25% you've given her until it went to court and she was awarded it, so changing the locks and moving in on your business while she is still a minority partner isnt legal.
I do hope you get it sorted out though.
Much as I love my wife, there is FA way I would give her any percentage of my business as a gift. If she wants a gift she can have some jewelry or a car, but not something I've built up from nothing through my hard work !

sy, i'm sure a few essex bods can help if you want to move stuff out of there!!! (you buy the pizzas though)
get serious legal advice then heed it.
things to consider would be as already mentioned:-
wind down and move out....
starting another business and migrating customers....
giving your business (trade) to another engineering firm in the meantime (if there's someone you trust in the same line) - i'm sure there are a few on here....
move all of her stuff out your place and change the locks.
then deny she'd ever lived there (as long as she hasn't paid bills etc.....)
it's hard mate, but i'm sure it will work out, you just might need to throw a bit of cash at it initially, good of you to post this, as well, as a lesson to others...
keep us posted along the way, and as i said, i'm sure a few Essex bods wont mind helping out.
good luck

**** that !! how much would that cost? Decent Hotel, Michelin * restaurants, wine, tourist attractions etc etc.......probably the best part of 1k.
I think A Night In Paris would have been the better option. You could probably pick a copy up for under a fiver now.
DJ Vinyl Ritchie...............What do you call a polish prostitute? Slobberdown Mec0ck Yab!tch

And as Dazza said, if you even need anything, just ask.
