Good price, same spec as mine but you got the screen upgrade which was another £100 but for only £25 more than I paid. Mine is due by 31st Jan but all depends if Dell keep to that or delay due to how many orders they have.

Was in Comet today and looked at the laptops to see how over priced they were and found this:

Seems a viable alternative with really only a smaller screen offset against the Centrino processor.

Think if Dell delay my order I may go for the Acer instead that I can just walk in and buy on the spot and not wait months for.

What's the difference between Core 2 Duo and the Centrino versions?

What would people here choose between the two as i'm tempted to tell Dell to poke thier ridiculous waiting times and walk into Comet and buy the Acer instead?

from what I was reading on their site, it seemed they were having delays with the CPU. I've just looked again this morning and mines being packed for shipping now, so looks like everything is ok with them now
