I`m not sure of the size but after speaking with Kenwood, it seems that there will always be a black border on the left and right sides....still looks

i have tryed the usb stick and i carnt load any pictures at all kenwood 7029, do you have to update the firmware first for it to wrk? or am i doing something wrong, jpegs are on the stick plug it in got to user interface and nothing works arhhhh does anyone no whats going on!!!! thanks guys....

Did you switch the headunit into standby after you connected the usb drive

no i pluged it in while on standby then switched it on, i just try ipod to and nothing, when i go into user interface and user background nothing works help lol any ideas granby have you updated yr firmware?

Yes i did upgrade the firmware (don't think it's necessary though), OK just tried it again on my h/u, have the unit on but not in standby - connect the usb stick and go to user interface - then on user background click on the memory button and it should show your usb stick with the files available

another question lol, when running the usb stick with mp3`s does the unit display the album art? i know the ipod does just wondered if the usb stick does, cus at the minute mine don`t? thanks peps.....

On mine sometimes it did and sometimes it didn't, could not work out why though

nor me lol, i have the cover ripped into the id3 tag but nothing in usb only ipod will do a little more investigating
