Hey Guys....Rob beat me to it, but we were not far behind. We had a baby boy today at 1.55pm 7lbs 9 Jacob.and We are soo tired!
Rather a complicated delivery unfortunatly but everything was fine in the end, and No I did not go near the business end when he was born, as we were in the operating theater. My eyes were wide and my knees weak!
Still lots of fun to follow and two weeks off work.
See you all at the meet

hey sqwint.... great news mate, congratulations. A boy 1st time round too... same as me ( he's 4 now, and just as hard work....lol)
I know what you mean, we were in the operating theatre too with about 8 people round us, she had a lot of complications too, and we were about 30 seconds from another cesarian... I was so grateful when it come out naturally, and then I looked.....
, suffice to say it wasn't as pleasant as one would have hoped....
anyway, not too much detail, point is you go through all that, and then the wonderful elation of the newborn... pride. joy, and exhaustion eh?.
well done mate ( did the nurses spill anything on you £2,500.00 trousers this time????, so glad your 'woman with child', actually had a child in it... unlike the 'chicken curry'..... whoops, now I'm not saying that the halfways chicken curry was filled with kids, but, in fact that there was no chicken in it..... right...stopping there, lack of sleep. very tired... don't understand what I've just typed myself......
I came on to congratulate you sqwint, and to attempt to post a piccy of Holly (still can't decide which way to spell it!!)
so here goes....

Congratulations all round to Rob and Squint. You must be looking forward to those 'quiet' nights in now.
Hope all is well with the new arrivals and your respective other halves.
I'm sure you'll have a load of piccies to show us on the 21st.
So until then, happy changing !!!!

Hey hey hey all. Thanks very much for all the congrats, and I pity all of you that are going to be bombarded with pictures at the meet. Both rob and I are gonna be cooing all night I think, so if you end up disowning us.... well! The midwife recommended to get the baby on their way always have a curry, but for some reason I didnt try that, cause appartantly stew doesnt work as well. Also rob Im sure the trousers were more like £5000, as they were made from pure cashmere, I mean you all saw them, and no way were they from top shop!
Don't you remember Capt Scarlott, oh no thats SMERSH!!
The reason is it's my surname and it annoyed my older brother caused he always reckoned he's THEcirsch!!
Stupid I know, but that's what happens when you're the baby.
Oh my God, I've mentioned babies again
