I prefer the Milton Keynes meet myself.... more central place to meet up than Aylesbury in a pub!
Friendly people that come to MK meets with all Jap cars although there are always loads of Scoob's there
Plenty of places to eat if you feel hungry or want to do a bit of shopping!
Mirrors06 is the guy who organises the meets - usually monthly

The meets in alysbury are for anymember that wants to come and whats wrong with a pub?? If you dont like it dont come but dont slate it!!!
The meet in Aylesbury has been going for over 2 years now so it cant be that bad.

I agree with Wimpy...if you dont like it, dont go. I go to both meets, and find friendly people at both venue's, so to say friendly people go to mk you insinuate (however thats spelled) that you arent welcome at the Aylesbury meet. As for meeting in a pub....Mk is in a car park!!

I wouldn't mind a RR session, be interesting to get the car dyno'd before it gets the Apexi PFC treatment so I have a before and after.
DS Automotive in Aylesbury are very good, they pretty much specialise in Scoobies and they have a Dyno Dynamics too. (I'm sure I've read on here recently that someone is organising a RR day at DSA? am I right??

Got some more details, there is a Open forum members only RR day going on for the 2/3rd Feb.
MLR boys and GTR forum lads are coming down as well.... Members from loads of different clubs will be down, so it shoudl be quite
The RR day is with Vision Performance and they are in Luton. They have a Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road which is the most accurate dyno out today, so no BS figures....
Pricing as we will hopefully have a few people is £35 each! Which is a steal for the quality of their dyno and cooling...
There's already around 10 cars coming down from the different forums...

I could be up for that RR day R4LLY, I only live about 15-20 minutes from Luton so could easily get there, my mate owns an evo 7 and is an MLR member, so maybe he'll be there as well, if not I'll get him there with me.

just to add my penneths worth.as you say people are entitled too there opinion without the sidc police having a go.i and several people who have joined the newly formed mk turbo feel the same .we like the mk meets we allways have over 30 cars and dont restrict to just scoobs .i will also listen to what others members want and where they want it .im sure sidc is a great club just does not have what i want from a club
)I just enjoy the company of people on there (most of them anyway)

I'm not even going to get into an argument, other than to say I have attended most of your meets in mk, bar 1 or 2, despite "certain" people slagging sidc off (not you I know). I have alwys found you to be a friendly chap, very approachable. I will still attend where possible, until it is felt I am not wanted there and I'll stop going. I am in no way an SIDC policeman, being purely a member with no other rights (other than to party )I just enjoy the company of people on there (most of them anyway)

Brilliant! Could you confirm the date then R4LLY, you mentioned it on 2nd/3rd of feb?
Also where abouts is Vision? Its not where PTS used to be is it? (dunno if PTS are still there or not?)

Its not looking promising for me unfortunately, the best I could probably do is finish work at 12ish and then shoot over, could I do that and then be one of the last runs?
