Did you buy any extras? Will you re coup the cost of these as well, I thought you'd spec'd the car up a bit from std?

I know from experience that some cars have to have certain extras to make them saleable again (lotus elise needs leather and radio fitting kit etc). Some BMW's aren't desirable unless they have the latest gadgets loaded on them.

If you are able to sell the car and not lose a penny then get rid now. You've been there and done it. He who hesitates is lost as they say.

F

BTW if it was as good as you say it was then you're gonna miss it like hell and wished you'd never sold it - added to confuse you of course LOL

Ah. House makes sense!

DavidBrown - Aaron (probably) didn't know at the start that he'd get the use of it for some months and not lose anything. If he did, and planned it that way from the start, then fair enough, I agree. However...

Cheers

Found this with Google (hope Chins won't mind):

"Posted on here earlier in the week. My car stuck in Reverse. Hydraulic shift has gone up the spout according to my dealer. BMW Technical (GMBH) diagnosed the faulty part.

None in the UK or Germany. They are backordered. Mine turns up next week. Know of at least one other car in the UK with exactly the same fault. As they were out of the part it does make you wonder."

The E36 was a dog. A great 'GT' but no drivers car. I returned a company E36 SMG in exchange for a fully loaded 156 V6!

The E46 on the other hand is a 'beaut. Still not as focussed as the E30 M3, but a whole world better than the E36.

Steve tops as usual
I need to move from my caravan into something a bit bigger so the rather large sum of dosh I have to find every month for a piece of steel and aluminium would come in handy when I progress upto a two bedroom gaff
Look you lot there comes a time when you have to say to yourself do you really need a £40K car on the drive????
I have seriously thought about getting rid and buying a more practicle car for some time.
Maybe even a 5 door STI
I will keep it as I think I will miss the speed too much as I have owned a Discovery and a Range before to slow myself down a bit and you just end up thrashing them every where in a lot less safety............................mind you Disco`s do drift rather nicely
