Cheeky B45tard Tiggs!!
That's the last time I let you come round and play Scalextric!!!
Must have been you that waved Jim? DGM MY02? The first person who ever waved back at me!!!! I keep waving at scoobys and they must think I'm a nutter!!
It's true, I am old.....but better a young head on an old body than an old head on a young body......though I suppose a young head on a young body is even better....
Edited by me 'cos I'm cr4p at these smiley thingys....probably 'cos I'm OLD!!!

rotflmao!!!!
In case you haven't heard, grey hair is distinguished!!!
Jim, was it you I waved at this morning on the Barkham Road, by the Bull Pub? I was in my Blue MY01 with Morettes - a bit grubby as I haven't washed it in weeks.
If you're confused about who's who it's not surprising, Tiggs' and my cars are identical from the front and have consecutive plates!!!
Only difference is he's got the blackedc out Wagon with graphite wheels whereas mine is altogether more tasteful with the original silver alloys
Tiggs I'm gonna let you off the Gandalf pic...only 'cos I haven't got time to sit through all the Flash cr4p on the Warner Brothers site to get a Harry Potter pic to embarrass you with....
Anyway, being older and more mature than you, I don't need to stoop to your schoolboy level (but please don't turn me into a frog...)
Damn!! still can't get the hang of these smiley things!!! Need a younger person to help me....anyone know a Beaver?

Not sure if it was me or not...I don't know which road is Barkham!!
I don't think so, as I didn't see any blue scoobs this morning! And I was in by 9am!!

you sure he didnt have a Flux Capacitor on the parcel shelf and a mad proffesor sat beside him? he could have been trying to reverse the aging process Back To The Future style!

Jim,
Wasn't on completely full chat - can't afford to lose licence and don't want everyone saying 'look at that tw@...' - but was late for a meeting so probably left it in second a little longer than
strictly necessary......
When I was cruising past yesterday, there was a metallic red Scoob with a biggish spoiler parked out the front of your building, is that yours? Cool if so. I'm plucking up the courage/cash to put a bigger spoiler on mine but I'm having to rein in my natural largeness in favour of not turning up at clients in something too outraeous.
There's also an 'M' reg. dark green wagon in the building next door, probably smack between yours and ours. Don't know if he subscribes to Scoobynet

You don't live in Lower Earley do you? I've seen a Blue UK300 cruise down past my house a couple of times, once with a mountain bike hangng off the back (somewhat defeating the spoiler I suspect...) even gave the guy a wave once, but never found out where he was going.
I figure there can't be that many UK300's around..?

No, what'd you do? Tiggs and I are financial advisers so it's difficult doing stuff weekday evenings as we're usually seeing clients.....and weekends are difficult 'cos then our wives want to see us!!!
Is it a regular thing? Maybe we can come down to the next one...

Well basically you all stand around (either inside or outside the pub) talking all things Scooby! Well for the first hour or so anyway, and from there on it's anything you care to discuss.
The Bagshot meet is normally held once a month, and allows you to see a variety of Scoobies (normally 20 or so), and Evo's and see what people have done to them. It also gives you a good opportunity if you are looking into a particular mod, to see if somebody else (and most of the time they have ) fitted it themselves.
There also tends to be a "mini-meet" in Bracknell every couple of weeks or so, so keeps your eyes peeled for this. There's normally 10 or so cars that turn up for this.

Hi Tim,
Yep, thats mine...I am the solitary Scooby owner within the company. But..it's just a standard MY00 spoiler...not an aftermarket one....the missus WOULD then divorce me. As it is she hates the new Magnex I have put on....quote "you are just bringing attention to yourself you dopey tit!" How we all laughed ;(
Sorry I missed the Bagshot meet, I was in Staines getting legless and loosing cash on the Bandits!
Back up North tonight..
Jim

Yeah Jim, but don't it sound nice!!!!
I'm not really much into all the conversion stuff - mine's had the Prodrive package including large exhaust, but it ends there pretty much. Whilst it's a personal lease car, it's still covered under the company fleet insurance (a small but valuable concession...especially with my insurance/conviction record...)and so we can't do any mods that aren't 'dealer fitted' which limits me and Tiggs to 'official' Pro-Drive bits. I think shorter springs are likely to be added 'cos the '01 model sits a lot higher off the ground than earlier Scoobs.... I just won't tell the wife!!!
I'd like a bigger spoiler but most of them are £500+ and I just keep thinking of more mortal things like a new CD player I could get!!! It wouldn't be so bad if I was likely to keep the car but by the time I've finished with it, it'll have 80,000 miles on it and be worth about five bob (sorry, lapse into pre-history there - a facet of my age that I can remember pre-decimal currency...)
Scott,
I'll speak with Tiggs (I'd be scared to come on my own...being much older and needing to be near a toilet at all times...)and see if we can get down to the next meet. Is it published under 'events'?

if are in sandhurst/crowthorne area on a good day (e.g., when the car actually leaves the drive) it is quite likely that you pass either me or the wife in a UK300 on our way to work.... saw one (UK300) across from Somerfield in Crowthorne High Street Saturday evening on a 51 plate.
