BMW 4.4 V8 2001
X5 tip:
If you have a OEM Bluetooth kit and it stops working: Disconnect the battery for 10mins or so.
Problem is the battery is under a humungus spare wheel, inwhich you screw your back try to lift out (I did) - even with the fancy strap-on device :freak: Then, and you'll have to shift the pump unit for the suspension to get at the battery.
Not sure if dealers have a fix for the "bug" on affected cars, they "should" do by now, but who knows!?
Keep an eye on the oil, change it every 12months if you care about the car - 18months at the very most: The service indicator won't tell you as it mainly works on mileage and has a 2 year limit IIRC (although that might just be the brake fluid timer).
