Shark man's intensity of purpose I can see.
Regarding the issue of 'whiskey' or 'half a pound of coke and an orgy with 5 hookers' I've tried both (well just a 1/4 ounce and 2 hookers) and I prefer the drugs/sex orgy to be honest.

A quick google would have give you the answer you were looking for, although the link posted does also state to take the whisky neat first
I used to be a heavy drinker of Southern Comfort when I was young and stupid and after two weeks of a bottle a night and becoming ill, I quit booze for a year or so, its been 21 years since i touched the stuff and I hate the smell of it these days, as I strangely went off the stuff too
JD is for getting drunk on, the finer single malts are for savouring, but in my case neat as I prefer them this way

Don't let obfuscation or your lack of articulation deflect from the fact that cask strength whisky requires the adjunct of water in order to taste it properly
JD is for when your already drunk....just to finish you off
It has excellent memory erasing properties too
A bit of spring water "should" be accompanied with a strong whisky, and diluted to taste. However all I have is a Brita filter which I'm sure defeats the point of using mineral water - seeing it filters out the minerals
