Not going to happen mate, at best a resignation from McLaren but only because of pressure, not because of embaressment. Id like to see the same, I can see why Becks wasnt picked for 90 mins though, hardly match fit with what hes been getting at LAG. But knew he was capable of doing the job, especially with the strikers we had to play with.

Hmmm. MaClaren step down ?? Not according to this:

McClaren added: "I take responsiblity - it was my job to get us qualified and I failed to do it."

What he means is he'd lose that nice 6 figure wage if he did ... if he gets sacked what's the betting he'll get loads of compensahtion ....?

England couldn't even play a long ball game properly tonight. At least Crouch looked like he was trying but why the f3ck they play a lone striker. AT HOME, when the need to at least draw is beyond me! What's the betting he thought Croatia would just turn up and play a reserve team as they had qualified anyway?

Indeed. Arsenal do nothing for England so **** them off. United are the only team of note to provide decent English players. Becks is a united man at heart. Missed Rio, Brown should have started, no Hargreaves, Scholes was fukt off long ago by **** tactics, Carrick is better than Lampard, missed Rooney....

Fact is any player from Villa, Everton, Portsmouth or City aint good enough. I will enjoy watching Ronaldo lift the Euro cup and wink to the camera
