Hi Jeff
One and the same - And Russ has ALL of the money for my digs - 126 quid! He said you wanted the money up front! I suppose we should forgive him though as the balance could buy him a new Lancia.
Mellow, I was told that Macka knew you - my mistake. Anyway about your "standard" suspension I could do with a chat....

Super Lancer,
Just spoke to Russ - he says he's got the deposit money for me £20 - he must be spending the rest on his standard CBR "600" so he can keep up with you!
I know Chris (Mellow) - been on several of his superbly organised runs - are you getting me mixed up with Macca (who works with Russ?)
Hope you can make this run on the 17th - I'll try and persuade Russ to bring the Integrale along.
When are you taking me for a run in the 'standard' EVO 7?
Cheers,
Ian.
P.S. are you putting your CBR "600" on the Dyno at the TT? - certainly impressed a few people when Russ had his Dynoed at the TT a couple of years ago

Hi Jeff
Yep, I am probably getting you and Macka mixed up - Thanks for the clarification.
You don't need an invite for a run in my 7 - Just get Russ to call me and if I'm in, swing by.
Re the dyno thing, as Russ will tell you I'm not really into that stuff, only for initial set up or to track changes, modifications or enhancements. I use the one near you once a year to set the bike up before the season and usually that's it. No dyno/ rolling road centres will or have never gotten rich out of me!!
By the way, people would be more impressed with Russ's bike if he cleaned it (and his car for that matter)

The Dyno was free at the TT - confused a few people with Fireblade performance from a 600 My 'Sports Tourer' (Firestorm) was only putting out 100BHP
I'll look forward to a run in the Evo 7

SuperLancer..........
Suspension is DMS Gold 40mm's (new generation), 30 settings, come with 185lb springs rear and 225 lb springs front.....may sound a bit soft (spring rating) but it's the best of both worlds....great on road....superb on track (As Blade and various other peeps can verify )

Thanks Chris.
I have been looking at the DMS kit for some time and "had" decided on the 50mm super strut kit but was concerned about the use of these in a road application as they apparently lack dust seals. The 40mm gold were designed specifically for the road and have the dust seals so you are OK - I was hoping you had gone for the 50mm and found a way around the dust seal problem.
