Your best bet is Amazon.de (Germany), ordered one for a mate the other day, arrived 3 days later. Just need a plug adapter (£1 from B&Q), but otherwise everything is the same as one bought in the UK, all in english.

My 9 yr old has a playstation 3, There are plenty of games now available, plus he plays all his ps2 games on it.
The other thing is when he's done I can play blue ray movies.
I also like the ability to down load demo's to play before you buy.
