Another Nikon owner, well done Frayz .

Have you made your purchase yet ?

I've got those two lenses plus the SB-800 flash, so if you wanted to have a look at them and play around before purchase, let me know.

Also THIS is a very good price comparison engine specifically for digital cameras if you havven't purchased yet.

Sorry didnt mean to sound rude lol.

Tis true though, im only young, working hard and enjoying as much as i can whilst it lasts.

One day i'll have a mortgage, wife, kids etc and might not be able to afford all the cool stuff.

I work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day midweek... so why not

Im certainly not gonna be the richest guy in the graveyard.

Welcome to the NIKON World .

You thought your taste in motor parts was expensive, it doesn't get any easier with a camera .

And once you figure out how to use it, could you show me how to use mine please .

Enjoy.

Well im @ work right now guys so i cant play right now. Although I have to say from what ive seen this morning, the build quality\detail and finish of the Nikon kit is nothing short of staggering.
Im really looking forward to using it!

It may well look a bit daunting at first mate, but stick it on fully automatic to start with and you'll be fine.

Welcome to the club fella

I was looking up Dave's profile and came across this... thought Tiny's comments were amusing. Other than the engine build thread I think I've only seen 1 other set of photos, not a dig just encouragement to get you out and about while you are waiting for the engine to come together

Oh, and I quite liked Rhybecks creative use of image stabilisation

The kites are a bit of a problem to be honest...

The sail is a bright colour against usually an overcast sky so you get blown highlights...

You lot are moving around in overcast conditions meaning fast shutters BUT BUT BUT we either stand close and use a wide angle or far away and use a big zoom but the shots get blurry.

Just for Chris

A few of my pics of all sorts, no order, no frills, no photoshop or cropping, just bang out of the camera.

Nikon D80 DSLR with either 18-70 or 70-300VR Nikon lenses.

Im still a noob but am learning all the time

Here ya go mate. Im not even clever enough to put a nice photoshop boarder around em.

Tell me what im doing wrong
