Most cars going to true specialists will have their own maps. Fred in a shed would not have the reputation & word of mouth endorsements that the better know specialists have among Subaru owners.

might be that your car doesn't need it or maybe it does who knows! at the minute dealers can't rewrite the ecu it has to be done by the area manager but when i.m have sorted out the training then dealers will be able to do it
