Not any more but in my younger days my very lippy mates would often end up in trouble leaving me to "mop up" the mess.

In my experience people who talk about being 'street fighters' are making it all up. Real hard men don't brag about it on the internet.

Tragically for you I am a VERY experienced street fighter. Not a single one on one ever lost. And there have been many.
However a six on one and a five on one (me being the "one") both landed me in hospital
One of the saddest posts I've ever seen.... coming form a 'supposed' martial artist

I can always run around a bit to tire you out if needed.

Couldn't help but think that these are just comments from someone with 'small man syndrome'.

Indeed.

The individual in question has been pulled up on here before about giving it the big 'I am'. He was given a dressing down and ran away for a while... but now, after a short stretch in Other Marques it seems he's back to peddling his fanciful Walter Mitty style claptrap.

You know, whenever I see these kind of threads I

a) Wonder why anyone would need to boast about their capacity to look after themselves on-line.

b) have grave concerns that some people who are proponents of martial arts are not very far removed from the thugs they profess to have taken the martial art to "defend" themselves from.

Take it from someone who sees the consequences of fighting very frequently: no matter how big, how strong, how proficient at a martial art you think you are. You are, in point of fact, very easy to injure and drink related violence is still a major cause of brain injury in younger men!

i wouldnt personally call it a dressing down mr engers. more like two users squabbling on the same thread, ruining it and refusing to give.

i do however see how your getting a reputaion for stalking people, but thats for another thread.

right back onto road rage people.

try been a bus driver all day! then you will relaise how wound up people get.... do they heck like a bus pulling out on them from a junction. they dont realise i have a 15 tonne, 35 foot lump of metal to move, and all they do is blow there horn. its easier to slow down and let me pull out. dont get me wrong, i dont cut people up, or pull off from the kerb and slow people up.... i wait til i get a flash of lights... but seriously, people are way too stressed when driving... lmao!

LOL at the Ninjas on this forum. I have a friend who is into his martial arts and I've never heard him say he's beaten this guy or lost to that guy. All his talks about is its history, the way it helps your spirit and the dedication it takes to be able to call himself a martial artist!

I agree with the posts, if you talk the big talk, you're full of crap.. saying that if I get road rage, I'm either driving off really quick or calling the police cause I aint hard or stupid !

Said Ninja is currently off licking his wounds after receiving an infraction for supposedly insulting me in Other Marques. Shame really as it was just getting interesting.

All well and good saying you'll be tooled up, but in this day and age you just dont know what the other guy/s might be carrying! As soon as you present a weapon, the situation escalates at best, you'll look like the thug when you may only be using it as a deterrent, at worst, the other guy might pull oput a gun, or knife....or bigger steering lock! lol

Discretion is the better part of valour in these circumstances - if you can get away, that would be my advice!

Maybe you'd have won, but then found yourself on a GBH charge or facing a claim from Johnny Mc Chav via those nice people at Claims direct

OR

Maybe you'll end up seriously injured or dead!

Not worth it!

Definately; somtimes you have to content yourself with a few well chosen words and just remember the old saying:

"He was right, dead right, as he drove along, but he's just as dead as if he'd been wrong!"
