checked online and it still says waiting for device at service centre?

yet I checked on UPS website and it was delivered next day?

I took 2 Xbox 360's to UPS on 29th Oct and both were delivered the next day. Haven't heard anything since then.

I was told there is currently a 15 day turnaround, I assume it is 15 working days

 

Well mine died yesterday and I'm currently waiting for the mailing labels, etc.. to be emailed to me. Why did it do it just as I was finishing PGR4 and just about to start CoD4!

 

It's being delivered on Tuesday. Took just short of 4 weeks, and the bloke I spoke to at Microsoft this morning could hardly understand English

 

Know how you feel mate,mines going back/being picked up Monday for the second time ,just over a month since it was last repaired.Luckily I have a friend who has a spare console so I am borrowing that.

 

One of ours finally came back today, son is testing it now

Wonder when the other one is coming back though

I'm now on the 2nd week and checked online - it says returned unit to customer? - dunno if its coming from the other side of the world or what?

I thought it would all be done inside a week, or are there thousands going wrong weekly?

My Sons came back yesterday and I have started a new thread because he is getting this:

Tried to recover gamer tag from Xbox.com and message came up saying "cannot save to selected storage device" "please make sure hardrive is inserted correctly and there is enough free space"

 

Sent our old 360 to be repaired last week. It had the RROD. We are now using our new 360 approx 4 months old and it's started freezing before playing a game,turn it off and then we get the RROD. So now both my son's have no xbox, life just is not going to be worth living over the next few weeks.hope it comes back soon. My mate purchased a new xbox elite from play.com and played it for 2 hrs and yes you guessed it RROD and had to go back. Is this a record

Yes my son tested it for a few hours and all seems ok at the moment.
I will let you know if we get anymore problems and see what happens with the other one when it comes back.

 

You have no idea what my Son has gone through with this. His mate has managed to save all his stuff, how I do not know. We shall know tomorrow when he collects whatever it is he has to collect and tries to install again. This is driving me bonkers. How much was it again
