Well i like my HIDs but that is by far a better option it looks almost original fit
I would be interested in a step by step aswell and also maybe a price list of the parts used and where they came from. Or why not just make about another 100 pairs and sell them on here
Well done

looking good...looking forward to seeing some high res pics
I wonder if you could run two smaller projectors...it may suit the shape of the lights even better than one...

Thanks everyone for the good comments.
In terms of the guide, its gonna take a bit of time as I'm planning to create a full PDF of the process
Trails mate - kinda busy tonight so will try and get some quality pics later in the week. I did think about doing two projectors, but they simply stuck out too much from the rear of the headlights.
Also after seeing RobK0000 efforts in the US decided it wasnt for me. (what do you think?)
Wanted larger projector lenses instead!
Got a set of mini projectors ready to find a new home in a 52 Reg Black Corsa (my daily run-a-about) - this will be my next project come the summer.
Trails/anyone else - got a driver side pre facelift headlight for anyone who wants to practice £10.

Darms,
I see what you mean about the two projectors...bit tight. I would have the practice lamp but I've made a pact with myself to finish what i have already brought before any more purchases.

Patents????? nice idea mate...
In terms of making some money on them, it would have to be quite a lot of £££££££. For example, our US conterparts charge in the region of $600 for modding your existing lights!
Lets not mention another Retrofit Project at the moment.... my Mrs has started to monitor is thread, too
