I drove Danny's helical synchro ppg last week and it is as Mark describes.

Absolutly docile and very little noise, about as noisey as a 50k mile old fully working gearbox.

Delightful gearchange and sweet as a nut.

1/4 mile with a 6 speed uk gearbox
YouTube - 11.5 1/4 mile

But with a PPG box i would run in the low 11 or high 10.
