Really?

Any of them made by Logitech by chance or are they as sh@t as the Microshaft one?

Joytech looks good with its stick shift but my old PS2 Joytech wheel had about 5 degrees of free play before the wheel acted on the screen

Has anyone tried any of the 3rd party 360 wheels?

I actually prefer the MS wheel one to the Logitech GT force pro Not sure why it's got a bad reputation with some people...

Now thats funny.

Crazy fool but then again you did not really get into GT4 did you?

To me the Logitech wheel feels like i am turning a wheel that is in contact with the road surface. With the MS wheel it feels like the car is barely touching the ground. Basically i can tell whats happening to the traction through the wheel on any Logitech product better than i can through the MS item but hey i only like Sims, like RBR, rFactor, GTR2 and GPL with all the aids turned off and dont much go for these arcadey type sims. So i have probably no idea what i am talking about.

I just wish MS would let Logitech design a proper wheel similer to the G25, now that would make Forza a whoile lot better running a gated shfter and clutch.

Without sounding patronising you did have the 360 wheel plugged in didnt you ? Not having ago, but i know somebody that thought the feedback sucked only to find out you need it hard powered for it to work

The force feedback is better on the dfp, but I just prefer the feel of the SM wheel. I found that the dfp made my hands ache after a while, whereas the MS wheel is much more comfortable for an extended session

The dfp is better attached to the pc though...

Couple of questions.

Will my Steering wheel work from my PS2 on a new PS3
Also, This talk of new versions not being able to play PS2 games, is this just Sony trying a push on selling stock that is already around ? Then once sales are up they will then put back the back play facility ?

I want a PS3 that plays PS2 games, I didnt really want a PS3 yet, would rather have waited another 6 months. I feel Sony are making me buy one now.

DOH ... Dam you Sony

Personally I have never played old console games on a new console. It completely defeats the purpose of buying a new machine and generally you'll still have the old console anyway. So all in all I couldn't give a rats **** and may be tempted when they drop it to £250 after Christmas, maybe even before, who knows!?

well i owned a PS3 since it came out and have never had a problem, i only recently (in the last week or so) actually registered it online, it did take some time but it had alot of updates to do

after updated my PS3 i haven't stopped going online i love it, last night there were 69 people in the same room when i was on colin mcrae, and every race i went on on motorstorm was full too, i lost misalbly on everything but had a great time none the less

i have played the 360 many times as quite alot of mates own them, but a few mates are now switching to the PS3 after we had a couple of mad online gaming sessions

What confuses me is why anyone would fork out so much cash to switch to a platform with so little games. I can see a case for having both, but if I only has a PS3, I'd be a very frustrated chap at the moment...
