As for PGR being soulless, hasn't it always been a bit like that?

normal was a bit of a doddle although i have not seen any of these mystical skull things so will probably have to play it again at some point (think im up to the ark level now)
will be up for some n00b c0-0p if required
im trying to get a skull atm & i think it requires a n00bs head to stand on in order to get it, if you think your up for the quest
Try the grenade launch, drop it by your feet and jump
Back on topic......
Unless you want the 20G Achievment points for 1 Million kudos dont bother just for the gamerpic, i spent all day getting the 1 million, then spent it on the gamerpic expecting it to be something special to be rewarded with something that resembles a squashed casino chip......

How pathetic.
Ive got 755G off it so far, some achievments seem a little stupid, like the "get 8 cars in the air at the same time" for 10G achievment, i mean who can be arsed?!?!?

Well, I haev to admit to eagerly awaiting the download of the PGR4 demo......
only to wholly underwhelmed by the game
Forza2 is much better. Sure, the weather model is fun, the game handling/realism element, especially after Forza 2, is absolutely shocking
I will still probably get it, but I've a few more titles to get first......
Disappointed

PGR has never meant to conform to realism, it states on the opening screen that the racing in the game is unrealistic (albeit its the disclaimer for "don't try this at home") point is, it doesnt try to be realistic, it's an arcade racer.
tried the demo last night, was not that impressed either, feels no different to PG3 really
bikes are crap as expected
will probably pick up a pre owed copy in a month or so if there's nothing better to play.

The demo wasnt what I was expecting it to be like, the menu systems seems a bit "SD" for want of a better term.
Didn't think the bikes were so bad myself, but it was only recently that I was really into MotoGP so that probably helped.
Not quite sure about the viewpoints - PGR3 has 2 bumper cams at different heights, the demo only has one and typically its the one I didnt use as I felt it was too close to the ground.
Can anyone tell me if the full game has it put back?

The one in the demo is the chin scraper, I always played the one a little higher up - the lower one made it harder for me to judge distances.
I also thought the speedo was a little too intrusive in the demo.

Also really enjoying this game
Good sliding fun on the Ice and Snow
Seem to be playing a lot on the Ice tracks in old school classics like the Cossie and the Growler
Detail on the interior is excellent but a tad restrictive view wise
Looking forward to wasting many an hour on this

Be curious to know the resolution is, surely wont be long before some geek counts the pixels.
Really enjoying it but there are a few gripes - my main bugbear is the raindrops in the online lobby - just effects for the sake of using them. Dont think the online rankings are much cop either, preferred the PGR3 style with tru-skill ranking.
Have to say that the 22b is awesome in this game

Probably stuck in some post office somewhere. The way these comments go I'm a bit apprehensive now whether its worth the money.
