Richard,
Put me down for 2 as well please (for driving, tour and food), only a short drive for me!
If need be I'm sure I could field a team of 6, I'll wait and see what the interest levels are from here first, let me know if you need more people.
Sean.

Jeff: Should be Thunderkarts (390cc, 60mph) like at the SIDC event - I'll check.
Rikki: Should be ok but I may have to enforce a 'Scooby drivers preferred' option depending on numbers!
Josh: any chance of us using your superb photographic skills for pictures for the Jordan website? Your skills are legendary (having seen the results first-hand) and it would be much appreciated.
Paul: Thanks for the posting in Midlands. I didn't post it in the Events forums as I believe this is a bit special, and people are likely to want to come along who aren't normally interested in traditional Scooby meets. Thanks for leaving the main thread in this forum Also, thanks for the offer of filming it, that would be great.
DavidH: 2 should be ok as you've put your name down early.
Chris: D'oh! Never mind, if this one goes well, I'll probably try and organise another one later in the season or next year.
Hopefully you'll all be able to get a preview of the EJ12 (2002 car) before it's first UK outing the next day They may be firing the cars up on the Sunday too, if we're really lucky!
Cheers
Richard

My original post just disappeared while I was trying to edit it!!!
This means I have to type it all in again
Basically, I'm organising a day of activities around a karting event for Subaru drivers to challenge the Jordan F1 team. Programme of details (subject to change, but hopefully not too much!):
- Sunday 17th February (now fixed)
- 2pm : Meet at Jordan Grand Prix headquarters, opposite Silverstone track, a few miles south of Northampton
- 2:30pm : Tour of Jordan factory floor including where the cars are built up (probably in 2 groups)
- 3:30-4pm : Head over to Whilton Mill karting centre
- 4:30pm : 2 hour Endurance Kart Race
- 8pm : Off to a nearby pub/restaurant for food and drinks to celebrate/commiserate (optional)
All in all, I reckon it should be a top day! I still have to get final confirmation on the factory tour, but it should be ok.
For directions to Jordan, either use the postcode (NN12 8TJ) in an Internet map site (e.g. Streetmap), or basically follow signs for Silverstone circuit on the A43, a few miles south of Northampton. The entrance is exactly opposited the main Silverstone track entrance - you can't miss it.
For details of Whilton Mill (karting), look on their web site.
I haven't decided the eating place yet - does anyone have any suggestions? If not, I'll just try and find somewhere on the net.
It's filling up fairly fast, so get your names down if you haven't already done so! I need to know:
- number of people
- if you want to come on the Jordan tour
- if you want to come for food afterwards
Cheers
Richard

Hi Richard
This sounds like a superb day and I'm sure everyone appreciates the effort you're going to.
Can you book Hoppy Junior into one of the teams, and count me as a visitor? I'll also drive if there's a team short on the day.
So thats one driver.
Two for the factory visit.
Two for grub.
Many thanks,
Richard.
