YOUR TOP TEN MODIFYING TIPS!!!
Nobody upgraded that Pansie HORN?????????
No.1 Mod = Airhorn
You get cut up by a muppet in a Nova and hit the horn........it sounds like "excuse me, excuse me, would you mind......" Whereas, airhorns = "Get the **** out of my way!!!!!!!". Bought a £20 set of twin tone horns in the first week of ownership and they cost £75 to fit!!!!!!!!
As for the rest, see above plus fire extinguisher and big maglight!

MY'01 wise:
- decat mid-section + single bore back box
- ITG panel filter
- Eibach spring kit (prodrive if you have a family, Eibach from TSL if you don't!) (either way TSL geo set-up!).
- 18" wheels
- NitoSport Defi gauge pod + gauges + carbon effect interior
- Subaru front/side/rear skirt additions + colour coded sills.
- Morette head light conversion
- quick shift mod
- Brembo grooved discs and DS2500 pads for the front (TSL)
- TSL reflector replacements
- a.n.other front grill, just anyother one, rather than the honey coombe subaru standard fit one!
I wouldn't bother with the front Strut brace, minimal difference.
And I'd consider sticking with 17" wheels if you went for Eibach springs (either set) if you do a lot of bumpy B road journeys, potentially more settled on 17"s I think.

MY00 (Thatcham 1 Alarm/Immob as standard so no Alarm needed)
1. PIAA's (so you can see at night)
2. Headlight and sidelight uprated bulbs (so you can see at night when you can't use highbeam)
3. 17" or 18" Wheels with SO2's or Proxies (NOT PZero's)
4. Bump Steer Mod (including proper Geometry setup)
5. Anti-Lift Kit
6. Eibach Springs
7. Uprated brakes (AP 4 pots good VFM)
8. Defi Boost gauge, Oil Temp gauge, Oil Pressure gauge
9. Full Scoobysport Exhaust system
10. Prodrive mini mudflaps (keeps the side of the car clean)
Other stuff (but strictly not part of top ten
):
(cheapish)
11. Clear Indicator Lenses and repeaters
12. Spray the orange indicator thingies black
13. Carbon Lip Spoiler
(not so cheapish)
11. Knocklink/Lambdalink
12. Electronic Boost Controller
13. Front Mounted Intercooler
None of these make the car more "flash" (
), but who cares, as long as it improves the performance

Matt
P.S. Chuck, wouldn't you still want to do the Bump Steer/Geo, Anti-Lift and Springs, even on a 22B?
