Thanks. I might have to go for the plastic OE one then as it's gonna be a hassle to paint the stainless ones and the paint might flake after a while
Could you send me a coupe of side pics of the car with the wheels clean and dirty?
I still can't decide whether to go for black wheels in my urban grey wagon.
The more I look at teh GB270 wagon the more I want one. Pitty it doesn't come in LHD.
Cheers

How goes it, got the mats made up at autostyle and the sunstrip from albany signs in carlisle, I ditched the so called special edition mats that came with the car , hows the saloon going is it properly run in yet, mines coming up to 4200 now so should be even better after 5000 miles, well my STI was anyways so i,m hoping for the same

Well, where do I start! Took the car to the dealer as I was pretty sure the brakes were warped (4000 miles), and whilst in getting that looked at (Brakes confirmed as warped to hell), they also noticed that 3 of the struts are knackered! So I'm waiting on all the parts to come in, so I can book it in to get fixed. In the mean time, the car is driving like a bag of nails!

Simon, sorry for the post Hi-Jack.
...But I prefer ther Fozzie handds down. If they had continued and did a new age STI 8/9/10 Impreza Wagon (not the fugly v7), then would have been the ultimate and cobine the best of everything
Such is life, they didnt so STI fozzie ticks all the rigght boxes for me.

Glad to see you are likin the forester, i,m thinking of a change again back to a classic,i aint doin the miles and 4000 per year is not enough to justify the hawkeye for the odd thrill even though its an awesome car, dunno what to get i,m torn between trying to get a V6 wagon, or a 5 or 6 saloon in standard form

Been busy changing jobs etc so been a bit quiet on here. Thats one of the reason ours has to go, much the same as you, that we cant justify only the 6k we put on ours. Working in paris at moment and commuting back on eurostar at weekends, so the weekends are only chance get to use it at the moment, then its just down to tescos and doing the shoppping, Plus will be getting a left hooker company car and will use that when come back over to uk, so its a bit of a waste with it just going to be sat here all week(s) and not getting driven.

Its a sad day, but you've had the experience of the GB Wagon.
