My New GB270 Info & Pics

It's not just the speakers, the standard head unit isn't great either. I changed my head unit before I got round to doing the speakers and there is a vast improvement over the sound from the standard head unit!

GB270 Updated pics
Hi guys
Some new pics after a bit of a clean thought i,d try some new angles with the camera
Boot sub box is now fitted and fits well and is a perfect match with the trim so i,m happy.
Car has now done nearly 3K and is feeling quicker by the day, of all the scoobs i,ve had this rates as one of the best all rounders with out a doubt !!, and when it rains is when i grab the keys most as she loves getting wet.
Just waiting for my prodrive diff guard and thats about it i think as i really wanna keep it standard.
Hope you like the pics
Si

New 2008 STI
Had the new 2008 STI for the weekend on demo from Stan Palmers Carlisle,I love the front end but not to keen on the rear looks, but overall i think it looks smart(looks more like a rally car in white IMO)
Drive wise it is so much smoother than the hawk eyes i have had, and is a good compromise between handling and comfort.
The interior looks good but feels a bit cheap compared to my GB270(Cool lit up at night),the seats are great, and the stereo is a great improvement as standard.
Feels a bigger car inside and while driving, and has a lot more leg room in the back.
It didn,t feel any quicker than mine(Had 2000mls on the clock) but probably was faster but the handling was surprisingly good
Here some pics
Has anydody else driven one yet??
Nice drive way
So we have the 2008 STI and the 2007 GB270 But which is Best ?
Theres only one way to find out FIGHT

Seat lowering kit
Just ordered a seat lowering kit from japan made by HKS to use with OE seats as i have always hated the higher seating position on the newage cars compared to the classics.
I,m hoping it will be alot better, has anyone fitted one of these
Will report back on this one once fitted

Not that I am biased, but I think the Wagon looks much better too
One question Simon - you posted earlier that you changed the lights for the silver instead of chrome - where did you get them from? I am not a great fan of the bling chrome look myself
Cheers,
Graeme

When i took the car in for its first service there was a silver wagon on the forecourt and i noticed the lights were silver inside as opposed to bright chrome, i asked then if they would swap em and they did,(stan palmers are good like that)
I,m sure you will be able to buy em from your local dealer or get them to swap if you get on ok with them.
Thank

Are those side and rear spats standard on the GB270? Love em.
Anyone know where I can get some for my hawkeye.
Have looked on accessories on Subaru site but nothing there, tried all the usual places too but no joy.

Thanks. Unfortunately have a saloon. Any reason why they wouldn't fit a saloon? Looking at the rear bumper and sideskirts and they look the same
Or maybe I could buy the ones that were meant for the GB270 saloon
Anyhow, what sort of prices are the dealers charging for these parts?

Hi,
I picked up my GB270 in March - just noticed some pics of the sports wagon (No.1) - NICE with GB270 mats!?
Mine only came with WRX mats - can anybody clarify whether I should have the GB270 mats??????
Please.
Cheers.
