Fair comments but goes to show how the same story can be interpreted so differently which in itself is a bit scary!

I have several mates serving as officers over there and I've spoken at length to them in between postings.
Had I accepted my offer from the RM to start training as an officer, I'd be out there now so I tend to keep abreast of what's going on.
Unlike an overweight, naive "plumber" like yourself who doesn't even know his way around the female plumbing system.

Little word from the wise (which compared to you is about 99.9999% of the world)
If one person calls you a horse (to make it simple insert AL where i type horse ok) then ignore them,
If two people do them maybe time to take a bit of notice.
If three people call you a horse (AL remember in this case! ) its time to get fitted for a saddle (to make it easy for you the saddle is an analogy) and the gist of it is to admit to yourself that you are AL.
Oh, post a sheep picture, brilliant, did you think that up, me a sheep, and you openly admitting copying DBH's New Hoover thread - Who's ths sheep you whooly minded feckwit.
As for socialising - i am hoping (really, i am) you will be my bestest ever friend
