Many commiserations. Mine was taken from Birmingham airport despite Cat 1 & Disklok, so I know what it feel like.

Really hope they get them, but they dont even check the containers in ferry ports that much. Too busy persecuting us ordinary tax payers to care

Bet mine is in Nigeria or somewhere similar.

Nice spot mate. I have seen it before though and it definetly is not mine.

My bumper was chopped for a front mount, was missing the number plate bracket, knicked with the fog covers on, did not have side protection strips and the front brake bells were diferent to them.

Cheers for thinking of me though mate.

Gutted for you m8! Hope they catch the scumbags...

I had a car lifted a few years back took me a while to sort my head out as the insurance never paid out due to no immoboliser cert.

Just kept on thinking "what if" i had of known they were coming. I would had been diskloked and wheel clamped up to ****.

Always been well paranoid since then. Never leave my evo anywhere now apart from in the garage.

Disklok didnt help me mate, nor a Cat 1

I bough this today Bulldog Security Products far better than cash spent on a Tracker I think. Van size to fit Evo wheels!

I'm also putting a post in the drive.

Paranoid? Maybe, but we have got to get wiser - crooks have... They come with pre prepared bypassing looms these days based on the alarm sticker on your window...

The insurance have made a very good and fair offer that i have accepted so i suppose this is the end of my P1 ownership experience.

I have to say that Keith michaels insurance (especially Gary Moulson AKA Moley WRX) and Highway insurance company have been a pleasure to deal with and i will 100% certain carry on insuring cars with them again.

Any one with a highly modified car should not think twice about going with Moley and his crew. In the event of the worst happening you don't want your misery compounded by offensive offers from insurance companies.

Shame to hear it has come to a pay out mate. Moley is for sure a top fella.

Are you thinking about getting anoter P1 mate or thinking else where?

I'd still keep an eye out mate for it on sites for parts etc. I'd hate this to happen to me.

Best of luck mate.

Just seen this So sad for you Mark especially as we were developing our cars at the same time. I've had a car stolen and it stays (bad feelings) with you for a long time.
