I shall be down in Penzance in for two weeks in Mid-August. We usually finish most evenings or days driving round 'the circuit' - past the harbour round the corner past the open air pool along the prom, turn right at the roundabout up to the top turn right, either up to Heamoor and back along the bypass down to Tesco or back through the centre via Market Jew Street. on a more sinister note, I know of a mobile clamper yob and associates who drive around in a dark green damaged and modded hatchback and lives (or did so last year) up a side road in Heamoor - what a mercenary low life he is slinking around the streets in his dodgy car and I have noticed him hanging about all day in places like Lamorna Cove etc. and trying to pounce on cars the instant the P&D tickets expire - he didn't get me though as I noticed his frankly suspicious stance (sitting in the car with another yob type watching people for hours - at first I thought he was some wierdo). Just a warning to those going to that part of Cornwall to make sure your car is properly parked and with valid P&D ticket because sadly, there are people desperates enough to have to earn a living this way. Having said that, we love Penzance and spend at least one twenty-six of every year 'living' there.

anyone see me blazing about with my bright yellow spacesaver on today??
wa on my way from fal to truro heard a bumping noise, thought wheel bearing had gone, started getting louder then when i got to truro noticed tyre was almost flat, abandoned it and went to my interview, came back and saw it was totally flat, at which point it started to empty it down from the heavens and i had to change the wheel to get back to work!!! got the wheel off to find a 4 inch bolt/screw in it!!!! was well pissed off!! will be £65 for a new rubber tomorrow, only avons so not to expensive.
