Simon, I can safely say.... you took it a lot better than I did when mine went pop. You are a top man!!!! As you say... turn it into a positive!

P.S. that was the hardest £30, I've ever had to take off someone I wasn't going to ask for it!!!!!

Sorry mate but this is a bit of a crap statement.

Youve spent the last week telling everyone how great your car feels now its been mapped with the new turbo and how much youre enjoying it... which i have to say is great.

http://https://www.scoobynet.com/sco...uick-read.html

However,

Are you really going to say that youre now unhappy with the car because it hasn't made some fancy high bhp figure on a rolling road?

Nothings changed about your car other than your perception of how much power you think you need.

Nope i see what your saying and agree but.....

If it was really making 300 bhp it would be a hole different car! That's why im not happy, if that makes any sence?

It doenst make sense really mate no.

But if youre happy like you say you are. Why the need for more?

If that rolling road printout you received today started with a 3... would know any different if is wasnt correct?

My guess is probably not.

Youd be on here jumping around with joy at how great it is.

Yep your most prob right but i didn't.

All i know is iv paid alot of money so expected what i expected.

Yes i am happy with the way the car feels but now know if it had what i (paid) for, it would be alot better?

As you should know everyone always whats more power?

I did not get what i expected and im not happy, really dont see whats wrong with that Frayz

Thanks to Bibo for sorting this today, apart from the obvious downer from Simon57's car giving way it was a great day.

As usual plenty of banter flying around.

Still can't believe I had to watch my baby suffer 4 runs

think the rollers were being nice to me to tell the truth, and a lot of the cars seemed to be a little low on torque

Frayz my BHP was spot on 16% above Road Dyno, was expecting 375 FtLbs from 323 ATW, but was not hitting full boost.

There was a period of uncertainty after Simon57's engine let go.....

The dyno got covered in coolant and had to be stripped and cleaned before if started giving consistant results..... grip vs sensors maybe?

Dave's car ran during the above period.... so he may have a point? (I don't know his spec.....?)

If the rollers were slippery then daves figures would be worse... not better.

Probably why the torque figures were low if the rollers were slippery. Up the top end the torque produced is lower so probably isnt slipping and therefore peak power is good. If the wheels are slipping on the rollers its more than likely that only the torque is affected. This is because the rollers are not being spun up at the rate the car is capable of spinning them at.
